PYGMY GOATS

Pygmy goats originated from the West African Dwarf Goats of central and west Africa - particularly from the Cameroon Valley.

They have short legs and are a smaller build than domestic goats.

Pygmy goats scream when they fly

Pygmy goats love to play and need lots of enrichment.

They will shout at you if you stop playing too soon.

Female goats are called Nannys and males are called Billys and the babies are called kids.



Pygmy goats are herbivores and eat mainly grass and some vegetables. Don’t feed them through - they can get very ill if they ate the wrong food.
