Spike and Buttons are the new ponies this year taking the children for a gentle walk around the field weather permitting. Buttons is a Shetland and can only carry smaller children approx. age 3 - 6 years and this will be at the discretion of staff Spike can carry up to approx. age 11 but he is 14hh (quite big!). There must be an accompanying adult to support each child on the pony’s back due to insurance conditions.

We aim to offer pony rides 4 or 5 days a week - weather permitting. This isn't always possible - please check in advance to avoid disappointment. We will post days on Facebook on a weekly basis or you can call the park to check on the day but there can still be last minute cancellations due to weather or staffing.

Vouchers for rides can be purchased from the shop at £1 per child and you will be given a time to come. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and shouldn't enter the riding area until asked to by staff.
