Summer holidays are now upon us-YIPPEE!!!!     We are hoping to have some sunny days and that our typical Scottish weather does not put you all off from coming to the park for a fun filled family day out.   Mums, dads, kids, grannies, grandads we at Auchingarrich wish you a great day, ENJOY!!!!

On your travels look out for our baby fallow deer.   DID YOU KNOW???     A young fallow deer is referred to as a "fawn".   Fallow deer start breeding when they are about 18 months old.   The mating season or the rut, starts towards the end of September and reaches a peek in mid October.   The female fallow deer, a "doe" usually gives birth to a single fawn May/June time and by the end of October the fawn is weaned.
